The historic town hall in Pyskowice

Dodaj do planera

Pyskowice was granted town privileges around 1260. In 1823 a new town hall was built, which is still standing in this form. In 1866 a renovation was carried out. A major renovation was carried out in 1913, and in the 1930s it was decided to expand the town. After the takeover of Pyskowice by the Polish authorities, the town hall continued to serve as the seat of the city authorities until 1996, when it was moved to the building of the former workers' hotel, adapted as the City Hall.

Since 2003, exhibitions have been prepared in the town hall, where we can learn about the history of our city and region. In the building there is also the Gallery "PODleń", which shows the works of artists not only from our city, but also from the entire region.
