In the area of Zbrosławice, the Upper Silesian position had as many as 9 objects, three of which were a shelter for an anti-tank cannon marked with the symbol Regelbau 116a. The building made available to visitors today is type 116a - ten rooms for twelve soldiers are protected from the top by a reinforced concrete ceiling, two meters thick. An anti-tank gun with a caliber of 37 millimeters was to be mounted here on the movable base. The main weapon of the shelter (PAK 35/36) was still considered the most modern anti-tank gun in the world at the end of the 1930s; However, the rapid technological progress in the construction of tanks meant that the 1940s were decisive for its decline.
The owner of the combat bunker in Zbrosławice is Mr. Waldemar Sykosz - called a Major among military enthusiasts, a consultant on historical military matters, author of specialist books and articles, activist of the "Pro Fortalicium" Association for Fortification Monuments, a construction entrepreneur, an extraordinary figure. He was seen - among other things - at the opening of the now closed Hans Kloss Museum in Katowice. The fans of Janek from Abwehr will find a real rarity in the Zbrosławice shelter: an original uniform, one of four in which Stanisław Mikulski recreated the character of the Polish Bond of the Second World War. A uniform put on a dummy is in the commander's room. There are countless souvenirs from the time when the bunker was used - from the food warehouse, through hand grenades and panzerfausts and the captured sten (which were sometimes equipped with Freikorps troops), to everyday everyday items: books, newspapers, private trinkets.
