A trip on the Oder River, provided that it is not a sports performance, can be compared to a visit to the cinema where in silence the images move: the elements of landscape change from forests into meadows, there appear islands and sandy beaches. In some places tourists can be surprised by coastal cliffs. The Oder River is very easy to travel, the only obstacle can be the weather, including a strong wind. Because of a good access to most of the parts of the river, the trip can be started and finished anywhere. By choosing Kostrzyn as the starting point or the finish line, within a day a kayaker can see: the most interesting parts of the riverside of the Oder at the longitude of Lossow (a 30 m cliff), Frankfurt, Słubice or Lebus - the cities from the perspective of the river, the islands at the longitude of Górzyca and, of course, the walls of the stronghold in Kostrzyn which can be visited by passing through Furta Młyńska. A tourist attraction that deserves attention is also Zespół Przyrodniczo-Krajobrazowy Porzecze (Porzecze Nature and Landscape Complex) where tourists can be fascinated with the highest and the most picturesque dunes in the Oder River Valley. Their height is almost 18 m above the water surface of the oxbow lakes of the Oder River.
