Manor and Park Complex

Dodaj do planera
In the village there are ruins of the Late Baroque manor house built around 1790, which belonged to Samuel Frederick von Schätzel. In the 2nd half of the 19th century the building was extended by a porch. The manor house was a 555 m2 two-storey building, built on a nearly square plan, covered with a mansard roof. For around 30 years after the Second World War, in the residence there were offices and apartments of the local PGR (state-owned farm) workers. Since the end of 1970s the facility has not been in use, thus it has fallen into ruin. In the neighbourhood there are farm buildings (e.g. a distillery) and a neglected manor park from the 1st half of the 19th century, which covers the area of 14.6 ha, a pond (4 ha) and a rich historic stand of trees composed of ash trees, elm trees, oaks, red beech trees, willows, chestnuts and limes. The facility is available for visitors.
