The church in Obromino was most likely built in the 13th century, as suggested by the local records of 1311 which mention a parish priest named John. In 1704, the church was described as “very old”. It is said to have had three bells, one of which originated from 1343. However, in the 18th century a new church was built, which then underwent comprehensive reconstruction between 1962 and 1964, and was eventually consecrated as the church of Our Lady of Sorrows of Pyrzyce.
