From the 13th century Wiechowo belonged to the Cistercian monastery in Marianowo and after the order had been dissolved, it belonged to the educational institution for noble maidens, situated in the monastery buildings until 1945. In Wiechowo there is a modern church built on the foundation of a medieval church. The fieldstone tower is currently ruined, so as two cemeteries, one from the 19th century located by the church, and the second one by the road from Marianowo to Dobrzany. At the old church cemetery, surrounded by a stone wall, there is a statue in memory of the victims of the First World War.
