Church of Our Lady the Queen of Poland

Dodaj do planera
The aisleless church in Kunowo was built of fieldstone and brick in several phases. The nave body was built in the 15th century and the stone and brick tower was constructed in 1582. In 1713 the church received a new Baroque interior with the equipment. At that time there were also built three annexes on the northern side. In the central part of the altar there is a picture of the Group of Crucifixion, framed with two side columns. In the sanctuary there is also a Baroque wooden pulpit from 1714. Below the pulpit there were placed three lime gravestones in memory of the local parish priest Urban Wentta, Ernest Friedrich Kirschner and Marta Sophia Kirschner. In the church there is a neo-Gothic brass pendant candle holder from the turn of 19th century, converted into an electric chandelier. The church brass bell was made in 1766 in the workshop of Johann Heinrich Scheel from Szczecin.
