Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Kochcice - a Roman Catholic parish, located in the diocese of Gliwice, in the deanery of Sadów
From the beginning of its existence, Kochcice belonged to the parish in Lubeck (Lubliniec deanery) and only when the parish in Kochanowice was established did it belong to its territory. This continued for almost 100 years, when in 1945-46 the building of the former farm stable was rebuilt into a temporary chapel for the chapel. In this way, a branch of the Kochanowice parish could be established in Kochcice, which already in 1949 received the status of an independent institution. However, for another 20 years this parish had to be cared for by the Oblates of Lubliniec, because it was only in 1969 that the state authorities agreed to appoint a parish priest in Kochcice.
