In 1933, an initiative was put forward to build a chapel in honor of the eight inhabitants of Ligota who died during the First World War. It was planned that every year a Mass would be celebrated in the chapel. in honor of the fallen. The relevant foundation act of the foundation was signed on February 26, 1933. The inhabitants of Ligota willingly supported the construction work.
The construction task was undertaken by Fr. Emanuel Maleika, and the builder of the chapel was Maksymilian Bryś. It is difficult to indicate the exact date of the chapel's construction. Using the dates from the painting and the old plaque, the works were carried out in 1934, and the construction of the chapel was completed a year later22. The chapel is 6 x 10 m. Inside there is an altar with an image of St. Elizabeth (1.5 × 1 m), and a commemorative plaque with the names of the fallen was embedded on the outer wall.
