Built in the second half of the 19th century by the owner of the Sosny estate, Ludwig von Klitzing, the church’s exquisite form is the creation of Martin Gropius, who was an apprentice of the famous architect Friedrich Schinkel. The church bells, which survive to this day, were founded in 1870 as a gift from the owner’s mother.
