The subject of the project "Ichthyopark”, or fish attractions in the forest corner of Silesia" was the development of the area of Kaletańskie factories of pulp and paper in Kalety. The implementation of the project assumed the adaptation of the area for the purposes of creating a theme park, which serves as a recognizable tourist product. The project implementation assumed: creating an educational path with educational boards and an arcade game, paving paths and a parking space, purchase of small architecture elements, purchase of a theme park equipment, purchase and installation of floating platforms, construction of an observation deck, securing the area by installing a fence and using a monitoring system , lighting the area, planting vegetation, making graffiti on the wall at the top of the reservoir, carrying out activities promoting the project.
In the summer season, the Ichthyopark is open daily from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. You can borrow fishing rods for free, you can get baits or rent a rowing boat.
An educational apiary has also been opened in the Ichthyopark. This apiary is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
