In the village of Boruszowice at Fabryczna Street, on the edge of the forest, there are buildings of a closed paper mill.
This interesting plant was established at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries and initially had nothing to do with the pulp industry. It was originally an explosives factory founded by Lignose AG. Dynamite was produced here, as well as xylite and ammonium nitrate. The finished products were then purchased by numerous mines in Upper Silesia and used to obtain hard coal.
In the 1970s, the paper mill in Boruszowice became a part of Kaletańskie Zakłady Celulozowo - Papiernicze.
