At the beginning of the 19th century, the construction of a new church in the late-classicist style began, the solemn consecration of which took place on September 22, 1816.
The main altar, decorated with a painting of the parish patron, takes the central place of the church. It was painted in 1806 by a representative of a well-known German family of painters and architects - Karol Fryderyk Held.
In 1907, the convent of the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Elizabeth. Elizabethan Sisters served in the parish until 2011.
