The idea of building a church in Pyskowice arose in the second half of the 19th century. The funds for the construction were obtained from the Bratnia Pomocy im. Gustaw Adolf. The work began in 1894 and was completed with a solemn blessing of the building on January 6, 1897. Fr. Hoffman from Toszek. A cemetery was established next to the church building.
