The Educational Center of the Complex of Landscape Parks of the Silesian Voivodeship in Kalina is located almost in the very center of the "Lasy nad Górną Liswarta" Landscape Park, which protects the most valuable parts of the areas in the upper section of the Liswarta River.
The aim of the Center's activities is, among others promoting broadly understood ecology, in particular disseminating knowledge about landscape parks and acquainting residents and tourists with valuable and characteristic natural features, cultural and historical values of these areas.
