Dodaj do planera

The "Cisy nad Liswartą" nature reserve is a forest and floristic reserve. The area under protection covers an area of almost 24 ha and is located in the Herby commune, near the hamlet of Łęg. The reserve was established in 1957. Apart from the yew tree, there are also several dozen other protected plants. Currently, this area is part of the "Lasy nad Górną Liswartą" Landscape Park. Getting to know the facility is possible thanks to the educational trail.

In the forest stands of riparian forests we can find alders, willows, poplars, ash trees, elms and oaks. The second of the local forest communities is the swamp coniferous forest - a habitat dominated by pine trees admixed with mossy birch or spruce. Apart from the common yew, seventeen other species of protected plants also grow in the reserve. A nature trail with six stops leads through this area. There is also a bicycle path nearby, which you can get to this area from the village of Łebki.
