The present church of St. Nicholas was built thanks to the efforts of Fr. Józef Wran by the carpenter Jakub Sedlaczek from Gliwice. Construction took place in the first half of the 18th century and was completed in 1755.
The furnishings of the church are mostly baroque. It belongs to him, among others main altar with a painting of St. Nicholas from the 17th century, and two side altars with paintings: a votive image of Our Lady of Frýdek, with a Moravian inscription from 1709, and St. Families. There is also an 18th-century, late-Baroque organ in the church, as well as a Rococo monstrance from 1776.
