St. Urbana in Wędzin, on January 1, 1981, separated from the Parish of St. Ap. Peter and Paul in Sieraków Śląski.
The current new church was built in 1996-2002, it was consecrated on September 15, 2002 by the then auxiliary bishop of the Opole diocese, Fr. Bishop Jan Kopiec.
