From the mid-seventeenth century, for about three hundred years, the village belonged to the parish in Sieraków Śląski, and earlier in Lubeck. Due to the large distance to the parish church, in 1881, the farmer Lorenz Ochman built a brick chapel, mainly with his own efforts, and handed it over to the village that was to take care of it. Services were held irregularly in the chapel, and several times also holy masses were celebrated with the participation of priests from the church of Sieraków.
There are damaged organs in the temple that have not been used for several years. The interior is decorated with rich polychromes.
