According to the legend, the original church was supposed to exist on a small hill around 1250, however, some information about the church and the parish dates back to 1447. Fragments of the presbytery that have survived to this day also come from this period. The nave of the church was erected by Protestants in the years 1610 - 1620. In 1629 the parish became Catholic again, and in 1737 the church was called to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (originally the church was called All Saints). In the years 1754 - 1760 the temple was baroqueized. During a fire in 1909, the roof and most of the church's furnishings burnt down. The reconstruction was carried out until 1912, adding a vestibule, a new sacristy and a side choir above the old sacristy. The brick belfry, standing separately, was erected in 1564 and was modernized several times.
