The castle in Pęzino is one of the best-preserved residential and defensive buildings in Pomerania. It is situated in the centre of the village of Pęzino, around 14 km to the west of Stargard. The castle lies between Krąpiel and Pęzinka. In 1382 Pęzino was sold by the Bork family to the Joannites who built the castle. The stronghold belonged to the Joannites, then it was given back to the Bork family as a fief and finally to the Puttkamer family. After 1945 the building was the seat of the State Agricultural Enterprise. Currently is it has been a private property.
