The facility is located near the market square, at ul. Kozielska. The palace was built in 1755 on the initiative of Karol Józef von Hoditz.
Valuable decorations were created inside the building. Preserved to the present day, they represent the regency style, being a transitional form between the late Baroque and the Rococo. The year 1945 brought the destruction of the residence.
In the years 1958-65 it was rebuilt to serve a new function - a nursing home. It performs this function to this day.
