The Communal Public Library in Koszęcin was established in 1950. At that time, it was located in the building of the old school at Sienkiewicza Street. Initially, it was a modest lending library with a small collection of 600 volumes. In 1960, the library was moved to a new building at Sobieskiego Street, i.e. the Cultural Center, where it has been operating until now.
