The mill is located in a large building originating from the end of the 19th century. It was also the site of the very first power station in Słońsk, which generated electricity from a water turbine. Despite a tumultuous history, the mill remains operational and until recently, has been working at capacity. But what is most interesting about the mill is the furnishing which, though quaint to say the least, is still functional and, through the unmistakable charm characteristic for old technology, creates the unforgettable atmosphere of a “living museum”.
