The parish church in Poczernin was built of fieldstone in the 15th century. In the 16th century there was added a tower made of granite stones and brick. Its wooden superstructure was made in 1850. Upon initiative of a member of the Society of Christ Fathers - Andrzej Trojanowski - in Poczernin there was erected the first assistance centre in Poland for people who want the release from the influence of the evil spirit.
